1. they or them (referring to people)

♦ ~俩(仨) the two (three) of them

2. (used before or after a noun or nouns for emphasis)

♦ ~弟兄都是钳工。 The two brothers are fitters.

♦ 赵先生、钱先生~都下班走了。 Both Mr. Zhao and Mr. Qian have left the office for the day.

3. (used after the name or title of a person to mean “and the others”)

♦ 队长~都在体育馆里练球。 The captain and his team (or men) are in the gym practising.
